Malicious ‘Safepal Wallet’ Firefox add-on stole cryptocurrency

A malicious Firefox add-on named “Safepal Wallet” scammed users by emptying out their wallets. The malicious add-ons have been taken down, but the phishing website set up by the threat actors is still up. At the time of writing, the victim’s key phrase in the recovery phrase is “12-12-words in the Backup Word in Backup Word” The site was registered in January this year via Namecheap.com/SafePalishing.com.”]
