New Scam Targets Curly-Haired Facebook Fans

Fake Facebook page offers free hair straighteners for free on social media site. Scammers use fake profile to gather enough likes and shares so they can sell the page to other scammers. Fake profile also claims winners will be randomly chosen to receive a straightener on March 20. Fake Facebook pages are also used to trick people into participating in survey scams and promote dubious products and services to a large audience. The company has published a warning to its customers, warning that the page is not a legitimate.”]
