IT Services Giant Sopra Steria Reportedly Hit with Ryuk Ransomware

Sopra Steria, one of the worlds biggest IT services companies, has reportedly been hit with the Ryuk ransomware. The company has 45,000 employees and offices in 25 countries. The group responsible for the attack are the operatives behind the RyUK ransomware strain, sources say. The French-based company says it is working hard for a return to normal as quickly as possible and every effort has been made to ensure business continuity. The next day, the company issued a statement saying security measures have been implemented in order to contain risks.”]
