79% of US parents say their kids were never cyberbullied, University of Phoenix finds

Three out of 10 teenagers say they were victims of cyberbullying or some form of harassment. 29 percent of bullied teenagers chose not to tell their parents, 28 percent didnt open up to anyone about their feelings and 26 percent only mentioned it to a friend. Parents should work on keeping a close and open communication with their children about online risks. Security solutions that provide parental control can increase the chances of avoiding online attacks and harassment, but it’s better to educate children about the threats they are exposed to online and how to react to them.”]
