2 arrested in Sri Lanka in Taiwan bank hack

The Far Eastern International Bank was hacked after a hacker put a virus into the banks computer system and tried to remove less than US$500,000 (NT$15,000) Most of the stolen money was recovered, said Taiwanese police. The bank reported suspicious transactions to the United States, Cambodia and Cambodia and Sri Lanka. A third suspect is at large in Sri Lanka and police are looking for one more person in connection with the hacking of the bank’s SWIFT system.”]
