700 million records of LinkedIn users have been offered for sale on the hacker forum RaidForum. LinkedIn says no private LinkedIn member data was exposed. Security experts say the offering stems from the “scraping” of records from websites and not a data breach. LinkedIn and other social networks struggle to block scrapers, experts say.
