St. Louis-based retail brokerage firm Scottrade has been hacked. The social security numbers, email addresses, street addresses, and other sensitive information of at least 4.6 million customers was accessed. Scottridge is now offering a year of free credit monitoring for people affected. T-Mobile is also offering credit monitoring after a breach of its credit reporting vendor Experian. The data was stolen between late 2013 and early 2014, and Scottrade says it has no reason to believe that Scottrade’s trading platforms or client funds were compromised.”]
