18-Year-Old Hacker Gets 3 Years in Prison for Massive Twitter ‘Bitcoin Scam’ Hack

Florida teen pleads guilty to fraud charges in exchange for three-year prison sentence. Graham Clark, 18, will also serve an additional three years on probation. Attackers hacked 130 high-profile Twitter accounts, including those belonging to politicians, celebrities, and musicians. The scheme netted about $117,000 in bitcoin before it was shut down in July.
